aahhh, the arguments of the technophiles niche vs consumer buyer evidence. I personally loved the article that pointed out that even with HDTV that the Wii was the dominant console. So I love to hear the fallacy argument that HDTV means HD Console. It's just reverse now. HDConsole means HDTV.

Hey simple thing to understand. HDTV has moved past the technophile phase. Once stores barely carry CRT which is the case now. Adoption is mandatory, but that has no bearing as towards the accessories that users attach to it. What users will attach is the most common.

Due to the nature of Vlads argument. TV are not computer parts, but still apply the same the rules of upgrades. People don't buy a new TV every 2 years. I have a monitor that's 10 years old and output 1280x800 and crystal clear imagery. Do I need to upgrade that. No, but I bought an LCD for convince sake. Damned they are lighter.

Majority of gamers including those who buy HD consoles. shock and awe, but them for the game play not for being a technophile. Here's another shocker. Most forum goers are typically the niche gamer like a technophile.

Squilliam: On Vgcharts its a commonly accepted practice to twist the bounds of plausibility in order to support your argument or agenda so I think its pretty cool that this gives me the precedent to say whatever I damn well please.
