I should hope so... I mean GOW isn't exactly a sales monster. Past games have sold between 2-3 million, and while that's certainly great, it's by no means comparable to other big franchises like Halo, GTA, MGS, FF, GT, COD or most Nintendo franchises. So if GOW3 would be their 'biggest' game, that wouldn't be good...

The new GOW is of course supposed to be a huge system seller, alot of analyists have predicted it will perform VERY well, I would not be surprised if it exceeds the sales of it's first two encarnations.

GT will sell around 10mill, but like you say, what other big franchises are there?

Well KZ3 may have a greater impact this time around, given that the developers fix the controls up a bit (though I had no problem with them first time round).

We can also hope that we get some new announcements, Would love to see Dark Cloud 3 thought we will probably get WKC2 (again, neither are a big seller but everything adds up).

The are always the games that are lurking in the background, LA Noir, The Getaway, Eight Days, Agent, The Agency.

Still no word on FFXIII, Versus and the Last Guardian release dates, could be released as soon as this summer or as late as winter 2011, we will have to expect Uncharted 3 some time towards the end of 2011 along with Infamous 2 and Resistance 3.                                                         We will probably see some interesting games release with the Arc, did they say they have something like 10 games confirmed for launch? I expect Media Molecule will have a new game to pitch concerning this.

I think Sony are going for quantity and quality in trying to win over buyers rather than fighting the exclusives battle with Microsoft, a battle that they cannot win since all of their money is tied up in assets and Microsoft has a huge disposable income.
