Right, i think i need to restate my position since i'm not that cynical. Girls really do want a nice guy but once they got one they don't know what to do with them. The girl i love (if you believe in love, i do) has been treated badly by every guy she's ever been with. At one point when we were laying in the park together she said that she never knew what love was but she was sure of it then. She was a mess though. Like the girl d21Lewis knew she probably would've ended up dead in 5 years. On the bright side she says she's making a real effort to change and be a better person and i genuinly believe her. She's finally getting her life straight for the first time since she was 12. |
so things with this girl.. are they working out?
i have a nice guy. he's not slushy, doesn't let me have my own way all the time and i know that if i was to storm off, he wouldn't make an effort to chase after me. Maybe girls want "nice guys", but when they get what they NEED rather than what they WANT, they don't appreciate it because it isn't quite how they imagined it. Or they're scared that the guy won't actually be all that nice after all.
I think i appreciate what I've got. I know I've got what I need, and a little bit of what I want too.
@oldschoolfool:Personally, I'm quite guarded and a little bit defensive. So when my guy does something sweet, I get really taken aback. He bought me a birthday cake and I nearly cried because I wasn't expecting it (lol). I know he's looking out for me, and he doesn't want me getting hurt, and that means more than money or "things". Not allgirls are dirty hobags :)
