yeah... i saw those... i already have a heat gun and just have to buy thermal paste... do you think it will last? my main reason i am going that path is because o dont have any backup of my save game files!

No, the possibility of it lasting more than 1 or 2 month after reflowing it is pretty slim - even if it works it's only a temporary fix
