active patching to fix games or improve them (example Wow provides new content with their patches, not just fixes).
* better graphics (if you argue buy glasses... and a brain)
* compatibility with older games (not entirely true, but you do have access to most of the old games)
** support for new technologies (3D vision, infiniview)
** Cheaper games
*** versatility (you can work on your gaming comp...)
*** Controls (you prefer game pads then use one... you prefer M+K all the better, it's your choice and the PC has the best of all worlds in this section)
**** Mod community (exclusive content made by gamers for gamers and it's free)
*****PC's exclusives (all those RTS, 4X, flight sims... blizzard games =)
the only real bad point is cost
Game instals are now in consoles too... so are patches for bugs...
and I believe we can also thank consoles for the new paid DLC frenzy...
5 years ago I would not have tried a platformer on a PC... now.... well you can use a 360 controler so...
