Considering how little money is in the business, and how many fanboys think of being a journalist is a dream job, you are going to get articles that aren't well written and are misleading. Look at it this way, you have individuals BLOGGING for free over this and that (*cough* BruceOnGames *cough*).
I believe what happened with journalism is the Internet. Not sure how many people can actually make a living doing it full-time now. Newspapers are also hurting.
