Chart: Xbox Live doesn't actually make Microsoft money

According to Business Insider's Chart of the Day feature, Microsoft doesn't get much, if any, operating profit from Xbox 360 or Xbox Live.

The company's entertainment and devices division only just started making money again while the online services division remained a sinkhole. Most of the company's money still comes from Microsoft Word and Windows products. Incidentally, Windows 7 just surpassed Vista on Steam as PC gamers' operating system of choice (XP is still in the lead).

A former Sony publicist tells us this info is what they call a "talking point." Check out the chart for yourself and discuss.
