Sonic Games are met with unfair bias

Sonic Unleashed was a awful game. I love Sonic and Sega and as a fan I expect more from them. I don't understand why fans feel its their job to apologize for a series, the opposite should be true. Fans should be the gate keepers, crying out when something they love is starts heading in the wrong direction instead of making excuses for it. Agreed. The day times levels while not the best were enjoyable. I just want more from Sonic then 30% of a good game.
