But its something everyone will want to try and play with for a few months. Sony, Samsung, LG and other TV makers are counting on this as they are trying to sell you new TVs and Blurays that can do this...

For sure. Avatar has become the highest-grossing film of all time mostly because of the 3D sessions. And I'd be willing to pay a higher price for a 3D TV, but for gaming, it's not the right time yet. I believe this and the next generation will set up the 3D games, but we'll only see if it'll become successful or a failure by the ninth or tenth generation.

If people want to have a glimpse of 3D in gaming, maybe we should check the first console using the technology massively, the Virtual Boy... Wait, shouldn't we just delete all its data from our heads?...
