Yes, some of the cutscenes were really awful. And about the glitches... I have beaten the game at least six times at this point, and I've only ever encountered a severe glitch once, where I fell through the city, died, and respawned. 

OT: I would love an inFamous 2, but I'd rather they wait till 2011 and make sure it's the best game possible. Quality over quantity. That said, I can't wait for the game!
