An excellent point. Those who are curious about this should pick up a DVD called "Priviledged Planet". It is not a "Christian" film, though often sold in Christian Bookstores.
It was made from the authors of a book (by the same name I think) who set out to prove scientifically that there must be many "earths" in a universe our size. It is a fascinating DVD.
The point that takeru51 makes here does not even begin to scratch the surface. Highly recommend. It is narrarated by Jean Reaus Davies (butchered his name I know);(the guy who played the dwarf in the Lord of the Rings films).
