Perhaps it's hard to gain a perspective on this if you're not from California. I've been aggresively asked to sign petitions to get this undemocratic measure on the ballot. It annoys me. It annoys me that politicians think they could do this to the people. And idiots who support these measures, who can't see past an abortion debate or any other political issue to realize what it would do to our democracy (more or less destroy for a while) pisses me off. Right now, the Republican party seems to me to be the most dangerous group in America, because they've shown they're cool with making Hugo Chavez style attempts at power.
