Are Gen Y too lazy too work?

You cannot apply things like this to everyone- it isn't fair.

And wouldn't this stuff be a result of how Gen X raised their children? I don't know. I'm from the swan song year (1992) of this supposed Gen Y, and I think this is pretty uncalled for.

How is it my fault if my parents are overprotective?

That statement may fill out one of those Gen Y bullet points on not taking responsibility, but who your parents are is something you can never control.
