Over 2 million can be anything, I don't know why you think that the sales aren't a lot higher than two million based on this statement (actually, 2.39M isn't a lot higher than 2M, it's just 400k of difference). There is no proof that it's overtracked just because he said "over 2M", so we can't be sure of what he is talking about.

"Over 2M" is different from "aren't a lot higher than two million".

2.5M is also "over 2M", so again, there is no proof or solid numbers, we can't be sure of what he is talking about.
