Some of the Generalisations and negative stereotyping of Gen Y are as follows:
Gen Y are considered self-centred and everything revolves around them.
Gen Y's think they know everything. But they know almost nothing.
Gen Y think their opinion is the only one that matters.
Gen Y are rude and arrogant and extremely lazy.
Gen Y are all dreamers. But with no plans to achieve these huge dreams.
Gen Y have been over protected and have lived their lives in cotton wool.
Gen Y are not the people you want to be on your side. They would turn their back on you when the going gets tough. Gen Y get going and never look back.
Gen Y have no loyalty to anyone or anything. Their constant change in jobs is a true indication of having no loyalty.
Gen Y like to blame Gen X and Baby Boomers for all the problems in the world. Gen Y have contributed as much to the problems in the world as the older generations.
Gen Y are disrepectful and show no respect to anyone.
