The Gaming PC Building/Upgrade Thread

Hey fellas, I'm considering a CPU upgrade for my setup. Currently I have a Pentium Dual Core (socket T) at 3.0 Ghz.

Should I go for a Quad Core? Something like a Q9500 would be a good idea?
