whats wrong with torrents? is a way people to share things... if people do illegal things with it ain't the technology fault... gasoline is legal and keeps the world alive but also pollutes and can be bought for you to drive in speeds that can be considered criminal and kill people in an accident...
its not smart to make this kind of comparisons...
