I'm actually about 75% of the way up on both Paragon and Renegade on my first ME2 playthrough right now and I'm still working on all the loyalty missions. I got the scar removal tool but haven't brought myself to using it because I want to see what happens as the bars continue to fill. Also, I really hate the Renegade path in ME2. In ME1, Renegade meant doing whatever was necessary to get the job done. It was harsh and sometimes nasty, but it wasn't the usual "Good vs Evil" dichotomy so I ended at maxed Renegade with like 1/4 Paragon or something like that. In ME2, a lot of the Renegade choices are pretty evil or at least asshole-ish so I'm leaning far more toward Paragon than I had hoped. Anywho (sorry about going off-topic), as long as you're fine with a "gruff" voice with a soft face, your playthrough should be just fine. ^_^ |
I thought Renegade was insanely evil in ME... Talk Wrex down? Fuck that just shoot him in the head... lol. I mean even when your decisions weren't particularly evil (focus on Sovereign versus save the council) Shepard became the devil incarnate in the following cutscene if you picked the renegade choice. *shrug* I find the choices to be just about identical in this. That said, I sorta look at this game as the Empire Strikes Back of this trilogy... it's Shepard's dark hour. Even on Paragon you are part of a criminal underwold the goodie-twoshoes Shepard in the first game wouldn't have dealt with. You're in a darker setting, and surviving here requires darker behavior.
