It doesn't strike me as a game with universal appeal although it is different enough from the rest of the pack that it is a significant development in the ongoing evolution of video games.
I still can't get over how the QTE sequences are so engaging. Maybe it's because it's not all X, circle, triangle, square on cue. Why nobody else came up with a system like this before is a bit of a mystery to me.
After the demo primer, I fully want to see how the entire story unravels and depending on how great the variation is between endings, go back and explore alternate story forks. The last game that did this for me was all the way back to Chrono Trigger.
