So I got kinda bored last night because there weren't really any games I wanted to play on my 360, mostly because I'm still in anticipation of Bioshock 2 wich I'm getting tommorow. So I sat in front of the TV and got bored again and then I noticed my PS3 was still siting there in my TV cabinet. How stupid was I, almost forgetting I own a PS3 as well! So I looked at my games, Ratchet and Clank naaaah, Killzone, naah that sucked, MGS4 hmm maybe later. So I came along Uncharted 1, wich ironicly was my last PS3 game I could browse to. I decided to pop the sucker in and play some Uncharted after, probably a year since I last played it.
So now on to the punchline of this really long story; HOLY CRAP! I was amazed at how good Uncharted actually looked. After playing some mediocre games for the last couple of weeks on my 360, this was a real treat. The first cutscene got me hooked again, since I decided to start the game from scratch again. Mostly because I hadn't played the game since the trophy patch came out so I wanted to get some trophys out of my new playthrough. So after playing the game for about 3 hours straight I was amazed at how good this game was, and still is. If you look at some of the crappy games that are released in 2009/2010, this 2007 title kicks the shit out of all of them. The graphics in particular are still amazing, but the smooth and action-packed gameplay is a real spectical. And Nathan Drake is just really a character to love.
So to top of my story, I wanted to thank Naughty Dog for making this great game, and thank them for making me pick up my PS3 again after this long, long time. And since my library of PS3 games is still very thin, I decided I'd like to invest some more money for some good games on my PS3. Thusfar I only have MGS4, Uncharted 1, Killzone 2 (hated that, sorry guys, used to GEARS/HALO) and Ratchet and Clank Quest for Booty. Also have a promo-copy of Lost the videogame, but I dare not touch that.
So I already ordered LittleBigPlanet for €20, so what are some other great (cheap) PS3 games I shouldn't miss? I'm still waiting for Uncharted 2 to drop in price so that is definitely a game I'm still getting. Also, no multi-platform games 'cause those are all purchased on Xbox 360. Didn't like Resitance 2 and inFamous and I don't like JRPGs. Thanks!
