There's a better explanation - GT PSP was likely overshipped heavily. 700k in dd is way too high.

Wasn't GT PSP a free download for European GO buyers?  That could maybe good for a few 100k alone?

The game tanked in Japan though, and the US NPD sales we got were even more pitiful (<20k launch month iirc).  Must've done insanely well in Europe, but yeah, likely way overshipped.
