I really like RE4 when i first played it, but i'm sick of it. RE5 was not very fun for me, i feel like Capcom just wants to go mainstream. I really miss the old RE style, there has got to be a way they can tweak the gameplay to be more like the old style without going back to pre-rendered backrounds. The GC RE4 old style videos looked awesome.
In the end i dont' think it's gonna happen, the new style has tapped into the popularity of 3rd person shooters this gen while maintaining many RE fans creating bigger sales.
