The game is fun no doubt but it's gotten progressively worse since the first one and is pretty much the same thing with a new skin on it. The graphics don't feel 'next gen' at all. The gameplay is very arcadish. The single player portion is atrocious. It does shine in multi-player though but even at that, it's the same multi-player it's always been. I think it's been living on hype and hype alone since the first one. Kill Zone 2 is pretty unique in terms of things that it does. It reminds you of Call of Duty but it's got a definitive flair to it. The graphics are unmatched. It's single player is clearly superior to Halo 3's. Multi-player is certainly debatable but it's totally different from Halo's MP and it's like comparing Apples to Oranges. |
I know right. It was the most popular game on Live last year, two years after its release, because of hype alone.
