Mass Effect 2 is one of the best games this gen...if not the best so far. So is Dragon Age. Those 2 were "bought" by EA and they seem to be selling ok...
The rest of the games they made are either extremely polished turds (dead space, dantes inferno), yearly sports games and music games, messy sandbox games (mecenaries 2, lotr, saboteur) or mirrors edge...
So I don't know if they are making games that no one wants...I certanly don't want their games...other than Bioware and Battlefield which are top tier software.
Edit - EA published LEft 4 dead too. My argument is just gone. They publish plenty of games people want.
