Something about this image is to me profoundly disturbing - the contortion of her face adds so many years that shouldn't be there, until she becomes a parody of her own expression. We are looking at a person who has made themselves naked in ways that dignity should not allow, in a way much more profound than nakedness of the flesh. There is wearing one's heart on one's sleeve, and then there is taking it out and rubbing it on your face so everyone can see the color of it.
It ain't right.
