I don't like the power button in the controller, and i'll tell you why: power button in the control means that the system's power is now digitally controlled, rather than an actual analogue switch, which in turn means that the power button is just as useless as any other button when the system freezes/crashes, which in turn means you have to unplug the damn thing, instead of just hitting the power button
Not having to worry about having enough memory for game saves is something i like, though
