Wasn't there a thread exactly like this already... that was a few pages long... I seem to remember that.
Either way... i'd say no.
The silent protagonist is still a valid storytelling form and rarely used lately.
In addition, any personalities ascribed to link by this voice will no doubt be in contrast to the majority of people who have ascribed their own specific model of a hero on to Link.
