I think Heavy Rain will be a commercial success

W0w! Here comes the haters.  You are kind of early, did not expect you till at least the second page .  Why are you in a tread of a game you are not going to purchase and don't even like?  Don't you have like some smash brothers or that new super mario game that came out to play?

 

For me this game is one of my most anticipated titles of 2010. But my reaction to "1.5-2 million LTD" was pretty much exactly the same as Avarice. So saying "hater" when someone has <1 million expectations is a bit of an over reaction. I think ~1 million will be a very creditable sales level.

I just hope the sales are high enough to encourage Quantic Dreams to keep going and develop this game style further. I think it's the sort of game that can draw in a new demographic, not as big a new demographic as the Wii has brought to gaming consoles, but a new demographic nonetheless, and one which can make quality games of this nature sustainable and profitable to produce.
