Actually yes, PC gaming is getting less popular but mostly because people just get almost all games pirated from the internet.. it gives people no motivation to finish the game

I don't get your point there.  Retail is being replaced by digital distribution, so it might not be as visible as console sales, but all available figures show the platform is growing, simple as that. Piracy's pretty much the same as it ever was, but heavily pirated games like the Sims and Crysis are still selling in their millions. FYI, according to one of the largest private trackers, XBox 360 piracy at the moment is running at roughly 20-30% of the level of PC piracy, so it's getting to be a significant problem on that platform as well.
