Of course there are stories told in Oblivion, but they maybe needed to tell the main story in a more epic way. Fable 2 did it somehow. I agree with this, I enjoyed the gameplay and the environment more than Dragon Age but I feel more.. I don't know the word, but it keeps you playing so you can uncover more of the story as the game progresses. With Oblivion it is a lot slower and not as much is happening and it doesn't keep me as interested.
With that said I still haven't beaten the game but I have put probably more hours into it than all of my other games combined.
