Yes!!! I find my friends list to be my biggest headache sometimes. Most of the people I work with have PS3s, and most of my friends outside of work have 360s. My combined list of friends on both platforms is probably about 20 people all of which always want to know when I'm going to be on next and what I'm going to be playing. I often get on my 360 and show myself as offline just so I can do some single player gaming without being pestered. I don't know if there's a way to do that on PS3 or not, I have not found a way so far other than to show yourself as unavailable.
