Its a game based off a movie doing better on a platform with more movie buffs... It does seem to make sense...

I can't tell if you are joking.  I mean, have you played Batman: AA and seen The Dark Knight?

I've played both, but did you see the proportion of Blu Ray sales for Dark Knight vs DVD? Blu Ray = PS3 to some extent, and there you have it. All movie based games have pretty much done disproportionately better on the PS3, and this is no exception.

Squilliam Batman AA is not a movie game at all.  It is a Batman game based off of the Dark Knight series of Comic books.  I can see how you may have made that connect due to how close the game came out and the blu-ray movie was released.  But it is "not" based upon the movie at all (but in retrospect both of these were greatly influenced by the comic so maybe it is ambivalent).

I wouldn't say that the comic book audience is distributed anything but proportionately even between the consoles. The movie audience is the one which makes the difference here. I should have said 'based off the performance of the movie' instead.

I'm going to back Squill here (because I feel the same and posted the idea before him earlier in the thread!).  I'm pretty sure the proximity of Batman as a character due to high BR sales would have given the PS3 some help.  I think everyone would know the two weren't linked, but the brand and character of course are consistent.  I think Batman AA also did a nice job of bringing in voice talent and feel of the popular animation show while also aluding somewhat to the feel of the film.

Try to be reasonable... its easier than you think...
