MS has been going more standards-compliant since IE6 for the web developers, but my using it isn't why MS has their own set of codes. If those users think that the only way to get someone to switch is to whine about how broken IE is, and how it's this huge problem, then no, I will never switch. I do not experience the problems that they claim exist; trying to say that they are a universal problem doesn't make matters better either. (Sure, some people have some of the problems, but it's not everyone.) So yeah, I use IE. It works for me, and it lets me customize just those few things I need to. And, through smart browsing, I've never had a virus on my computer. (Yes, I do scan on a weekly basis.) So, from my perspective, I use the old saying, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it." I don't see that IE is broke, so don't try to tell me that it is. Your words then will only fall onto unreceptive ears (or eyes on the internet). |

You are in the minority with your views, and it isn't exactly brain science to know you should have ALL plugins up to date, firefox uses the SAME plugins as Internet Explorer so when your moaning about firefox plugins your also moaning about Internet Explorers and all other browsers plugins too lol, flash, shockwave, java, quicktime, adobe reader are all needed to get the best web experiance no matter what browser you use.
And memory leaks in firefox never requires you to restart your pc, just ctrl+alt+delete and close firefox.exe, not exactly hard, and besides, memory leaks shouldn't happen in the latest version firefox unless your using rubbish addons or your profile is corrupt (which can also happen to internet explorer)
And your still using IE6, the worst browser ever made, wow, IE7 and IE8 knock spots off IE6 hence why Microsoft are stopping support for IE6 this year lol.
