Yeah, FF is a linear RPG Series in general.

I doubt FFXIII is any different from other games in the series lol. People like myself just like to diss FF out of jealousy.

uncharted 2 was linear, no sidequest, divided in chapters that u could repeat if you want, same for all FPS, TPS, Story part of figther

are linear.

 

but some people want it to be like WRPG, but then WRPG fail at story telling, the progression can be messed up, characters interactions are random, and simply there is not really a focus on them either.

 

WRPG do what rpg's set out to do.....at least they arent action/adventure games with a leveling system like JRPGs.

JRPG's are action/adventure games there is absolutely no "role-playing" in them.....while all wrpg's are about is "role-playing".

JRPG's are only RPGs in name , nothing more.
