I can see blu-ray lasting at least 5 more years. People who think digital distribution is the next big thing should stop considering that unless your willing to pay $150 a month for high speed internet. Im guessing people who have high speed internet now are averaging 6mbps. For me downloading a movie takes about 30-45 mins. Thats just stander def. If i want high def movies its like 2 or 3 times longer. Even with next gen consoles i cant see people using digital downloads for there games. Thats just going to take to long. Unless internet company offer 50mbps for $50 a month i dont see this happening anytime soon.
