People don't know what linear really means. Thats all I can say. Nearly every game with a +90 Meta and that has won multiple GOTY awards are linear, but those suppose do not count as linear games because people just do not notice it. The word linear was tagged onto FFXIII and it wins "the most linear game ever" award.
