Halo 3 because its got a lot more replay options, coop, 4 player local and its one of the best balanced online modes out there. Killzone 2 is really a late 80's shooter once you're over the graphics impact.

Care to explain?

They were both over-inflated due to hype anyway except Halo 3 never had as good graphics compared to the competition at the time whilst Killzone 2 got a lot of 10/10 graphics scores. So take away the graphics inflation and you have another Resistance Fall of Man 1/2 type game. A late 80s shooter along the same vein as Call of Duty 5.

Hmm first I thought it was a mistake but probably I dont understand it.

The question is WHY LATE 80s ? You are talking about the decade 1980-1990 ?

Or do you think of something different ?

Ok lets recapitulate the end of the 1980s:  NES is the leading console. First handheld with swapable games is going to be released. The Berlin Wall falls.

David Hasselhoff is the coolest guy every for kids. Cassets are big and CDs are futuristic stuff.

Killzone 2 is not related to games of that time simply because the type of games wasnt invented yet.

I think you mean late 90s ?

All FPS of today are like late 90s FPS. They havent changed the formula much. And 99% of the FPS brought nothing new to the table but still are good games.

In my case I would prefer KZ2 from the atmosphere but I have to say my Halo 3 experience is pretty limited so I cant give a proper vote.

Both games are good and deserve the sympathy. Both games are on a high level in all aspects so everything what decides is your personal taste.
