I saw Kirby, F-Zero or Pikmin and I read Starfox... that's weird! I guess I just want Starfox so badly, I'm starting to hallucinate.

By the by, I was looking up sales for franchises and saw that F-zero GX sold only 0.12 million! That's scandalous isn't it? If I'm not mistaken that game was the first collaboration between Nintendo and Sega and it was a pretty awesome game to boot with a great critical reception. What went wrong? Do we just put it down to low Gamecube market share? It's a tragedy really. I loved F-zero GX.

Haha, nevermind.

Yeah when I made that post I had just looked up some of those sales numbers as well... 120k WW sounds awfully low for the game, even with the 'Cube low installed base... Makes me wonder if perhaps those sales are incomplete, a lot of the numbers from past gens are, you know. On Wikipedia it says

"In Japan, F-Zero GX sold 100,981 units and became qualified for the Player's Choice line in both Europe and North America by selling at least 250,000 copies."

... So that would mean the game's sold much, much better than 120k.

But I agree, the game was pretty darn awesome, it looked stunning, it was ultra fast and the gameplay was really smooth. Plus, it was extremely well-rounded and feature-packed, with its story mode and missions, character profiles and CGI movies and such. Sega had really poured their heart and soul into it, as far as I could see. I still love it and would very much welcome a Wii version.
