loves2splooge said: Yeah us Canadians really do get hosed gaming price wise. GameStop USA has it for $20 US. But Gamestop.ca doesn't have it listed anymore. Try ebay.ca. I remember when I bought Infinite Undiscovery and Fable II, the games were close to full price in Canada but cheaper in the US so I bought from some Americans on ebay. No import duties. And yet Canadian economic nationalists want to make us feel guilty for importing American? Hey, if Canadian-located retailers like Futureshop, Best Buy Canada, Amazon.ca and Gamestop.ca want to be successful, they need to give us the same kind of deals the Americans get. If not, screw you guys, I'm gonna keep importing from Amerricuh! Fuck yeah! |
Like I mentioned earlier, I find futureshop usually has good deals. Oblivion, bioshock and AC for 40 bucks. and then I picked up MGS4 and Dead space for 40 bucks. Staples was getting rid of all their stock round new years and i picked up infamous for 17 bucks plus tax.
If I remember correctly, bestbuy.ca is having a 10$ sale for bioshock now that part 2 is coming out. and all their sites ship for free if you spend over 39$. I find with the price exchange and all. were getting better prices than down in the states. maybe not as many deals, but better prices. Anyway if you look around. you'll find the deals. I find if there's a store that doesn't lower prices of older games (in montreal at least) its ebgames
