A Wii redesign is likely to arrive if the sales are down YoY after Q2 and they want the Wii to sell until 2012: add an HDD (or bigger flash memory), built in WM+, new color (black if it doesn't come out in the US), WSR included, HD output (720p) and something else...for just 230$! That would sell a ton, and likely carry the Wii seling great for another year...but I don't think it would be announced at GDC, too soon (NSMBW is still pushing the Wii, and the console is up over 2008) and not necessary now...maybe when Natal and Arc launch, they could announce this new version and launch it just before the holiday season.
