It isn't worth the effort to release a new system when the old ones are beating out everyone else and continue to do so both in hardware and software. These rumors are more FUD then anything. To the person that stated that the release of the DSi XL does not have affect the announcement of the DS2. Yes it does. It would not make financial sense or business sense to launch the DSi XL if they are going to launch the successor. People would not waste their money on the DSi XL when the successor would lauch this fall. Secondly the manufacturing cost of the DSI XL would come in to play as would the marketing costs. That's too much money to spend and retailers would not purchase the DSI XL fearing that the successor would undermine its sales potential.
If Nintendo is successful at the moment, it’s because they are good, and I cannot blame them for that. What we should do is try to be just as good.----Laurent Benadiba
