I don't understand why so many people have complaints about this. Apparently many posters lack common sense and fail to understand that the shipped numbers quoted from a manufacturer will always be greater than sell through (except when a product stops being shipped). Hell most cross globe shipping takes 4-6 weeks, which means on average the sell through numbers should ALWAYS lag shipped numbers by 1-2 months. This gap will get bigger or smaller with any number of factors, but this doesn't change the fact that this gap exists.
Also channel stuffing is very common in the business world, and in the past Microsoft and Sony have done this, so its not surprising to see large gaps form at the ends of financial quarters.
