IGN and Gametrailers responses proof of bad things to come?

I actually like that these big named sites give a more realistic/personal response to people's comments, or whatever the case may be. I feel closer to the editors on a whole rather than just the company (IGN, etc.) I love IGN for keeping a human touch to the response, and editorials. It's always set them apart, and i think that's why they are so big now, they've always been like this, from way back when i first used the site in 2001/2.
