With all due respect, my friend, I honestly don't think FFXIII is going to sway reviewers over Mass Effect 2. It's a JRPG vs. a WRPG. Do the math.

 

Besides, I've been hearing bad impressions about FFXIII. =/ I'll still get it, though.

FF XII stands at 92 on metacritic.

And from what I'VE been hearing,FF XIII is better.

So with all due respect,my friend,I honestly don't think you should let FF XIII out

Look at the metacritic of FFXIII, and tell me then. I'm not saying it'll be a bad game, but are you expecting a JRPG to beat a WRPG critically, which by the way is the highest rated RPG on metacritic (96)? Would be hard, but if FFXIII snags some GOTY/RPG GOTY awards over Mass Effect 2, I'll be very impressed.
