This is a serious question, PS3 has been playing catch up for the past 5 months, and really is making a profit, right now they have more momentum then ever before. PS3 is seriously looking like it will take second place.(Let's face it First place is long gone.)
I don't think 360 will be ready for a price cut for at least a few months(June-ish) and by then I'm pretty sure it will be too late, by then the PS3 could easily handle one final price cut and would still have the momentum, my question is, is pulling the price cut card even going to be enough to derail PS3's momentum
Like I said before the PS3 could easily counter price cut and put them back at level ground and still sell more. What will it take(within reason) for the 360 to start outselling PS3 again.
Natal?<----No, they need a trump card that isn't going to completely flop.
And for the record Arc=flop aswell, if I wanted motion control gaming I would of gotten a Wii(with the new Zelda coming out I'm going to get one anyway).
What is 360's trump card?
Do they have one?
2010 Hardware Sales Predictions
Wii: 20m- Sales will drop, but not by much.
PS3: 13.5m- It sold 12m in 2009, its only common sense it will sell more this year.
Xbox 360: 11m- It sold 11m in 2008 and 2009, I think it will sell the same.
My Fanboy Speech...
Why do you have to make excuses to defend a product that you purchased, but that's the only connection you have to it, you don't make it, you don't lose or gain money on it. I don't see where all of the defensiveness comes in, there is no reason for you or anybody else to feel obligated to defend it. Now I would understand if one of you were a developer for the product and you slaved over said product only to hear somebody call it stupid or a piece of junk. But none of you developed it, none of you are mature enough to realize that. Choosing a product all comes down to preference, you chose said product because it is best for you. Simple as that!
