Yay Mirror's Edge, I loved that game to death. Beautiful music, wonderful art design, and an awesome take on 3-d platforming.

Yay Prince of Persia, I really loved PoP too. The dialogue between the Prince and Elika kept me interested in the game, despite repetitive platforming and some uninteresting levels (the levels felt too similar to one another). The ending of PoP was awesome too, I hope we see PoP2 sometime soon.

Understandably low rankings for GTAIV and MGS4. GTAIV was a massive disappointment, but it's still a really good game. As for MGS4? I'm trying to replay it right now and, to be honest, it's probably my least favorite PS3 game. Pretty interesting considering that after my first playthrough, I called it my favorite game of ALL TIME.

Boo Left 4 Dead at number 2. What a repetitive, mundane shooter. It's only a lot of fun when you're playing with friends. If L4D is number 2, then Brawl should be number 3.

Super boo for Fallout 3. Fallout 3 has a beautifully realized world, and the storyline is interesting enough, but the game is only "omg amazing" for packrats. I won't lie, I really enjoyed Fallout 3, but the gameplay is horribly repetitive, the wow factor of the world wears off after a while, and searching through 1000 burnt books for 1 book that increases a stat point by 1 (out of 100) isn't what I consider Game of the Year material.

I totally agree with you on Mirror's Edge, Prince of Persia and GTAIV.

Haven't played the others.
