I don't see it happening. The way MS is competing with Blue Ray is by offering HD movies as downloads.
I think MS sees the future as electronic media, games/movies sold as downloads or directly on memory sticks. I think the whole HD-DVD/Blue-Ray thing is just a interuim step, and some day will be thought of as the "8 track tapes" of the new millenium.
