And if Sony releases a new portable, the DS will feel even more dated. Based on Nintendo success with DS, they don't need to rush, but because of Sony they will put a new portable on the market late 2011 or spring 2012. |
Sony would drop out of the handheld business before they'd release a PSP2 anytime in the next 2 years. They would be forced to evolve the graphics further, and it's already nearly impossible for the PSP to make a developer money even with its current tech level. A PSP2 would be the biggest bomb since the virtua boy (well, and the PSP Go).
