I thought you were serious until the last line.

People in this thread need to calm down.  The ME series is actually averaging higher on Metacritic than the Uncharted series.  ME won the first round, and they tied for the second.  Having played through both games entirely (unlike an enormous amount of people in this thread), I can comfortably say that Mass Effect 2 is the better game for one simple reason.  Both of them are as awesome as eachother, but Mass Effect 2 simply lasts longer.

And of course, people will make the whole "quantity vs quality" statement.  But that is just it.  Mass Effect 2 is the same awesome quality as Uncharted 2, only with a hell of a lot more of it.  My first Uncharted 2 run through took me 10 hours, my first ME2 runthrough took forty.  And there are an awful lot more incentives to replay ME2 than Uncharted 2.

I will say again.  Most of the responses to this article belay an unwillingness on the part of the poster's to actually read the entire article.  The poster, who has a history of strong PS3 support, clearly and legitimately justifies his position.

Meh it's just their opinnion...no need to get worked up over it right? I've talked to ppl who shit on both games and say they both suck... what do I say to them?

I do believe that Uncharted 1 was better than the original Mass Effect. Then Uncharted 2 came along and was a HUGE step up from the first game. I haven't actually got around to playing Mass Effect 2 yet cause I've been devoting my time to FFXIII. Once I do get the chance to beat it, I'll be able to say for myself which one is better. ATM though I'm obviousley leaning towards Uncharted.

But the whole reason IGN made an article like that:

1 - Hits (obviousley).

2 - They are one of the only ones to do it. I mean, most of the community either disagrees with them or just hasn't said anything yet. Uncharted 2 was the overwhelmingly picked as GOTY 2009. We haven't had that happen in a couple of years. Obviousley there will be news articles popping up when someone believes they have just played a game that is EVEN better.
