David Cage doesn't even belong in this category. The style of games he makes seems very different than the other two...

But at the same time I guess the same could be said about any of the three guys you listed.

Kojima wins it by far though.

Some of you seem to be deliberately ignoring the OP. Oh well, I won't go through the trouble of explaining it again. It's my feelings on the matter either way.

I don't get it. How could I ignore the OP when it's the first thing in my face when the page loads? And yes I read all....what....5 lines of it?

Then maybe you misunderstood it, or don't comprehend it. I said it isn't JUST about their work on the screen, but their state of mind. Since the OP is pretty short, you could be admitting one of several things:

A. You didn't ACTUALLY read it, but just the thread title.

B. You don't understand/comprehend it.

C. You're looking to cause unecessary trouble on purpose.

Since I'm not trying to take this far off topic, it's not a big deal. I just wanted you to understand that it isn't just their work that lead me to make this thread, in fact their ACTUAL work was the least of it. I did some research and found that these three have a similar outlook on the industry, how they create their products, what they want their products to mean when they're being played, and their state of mind.

Understand now?

I DID read the OP. But you explained it alot better with your last post.

My vote still goes to Kojima. I can't imagine what goes through that mans head. But he is one of the greatest storytellers of our time. I wish more developers looked at video gaming the same way he does.
